Newar Samaj Hong Kong participated in different cultrual programmes organized by NRN and HKAA for relief for Sichuan earthquake victime, Hong Kong Nepalese Federation cultrual show and Nepalese Janajati Mahasang. The participation gathered round of applause and spectacular performance which was highly appreciated by media, audience and public.

 

July 7, 2007: Regretfully, Newar Samaj Hong Kong had to bid goodbye to its President, Mr. Shiba Pradhan and founder committee member,Mr. Dibya Maharjan due to their relocation to United Kingdom. An farewell party was organized to felicitating him and thanking them for their outstanding job during theirtenure as President and founder member, respectively, of Newar Samaj Hong Kong. Mr. Manik lal Shrestha, Vice President, was given the job responsibilities on behalf of the President. NSHK Committee members, advisors and other well-wishers attended the events and wish them all the luck. April 15, 2007: To celebrate the new Nepali year 2064, Newar Samaj HK organized a day picnic in the remote hiking hill and waterfall, Bride's Pool. Outstanding number of guests showed up for the picnic making this event an immense success. The attraction were the venue itself and ofcourse the traditional Newar food and sameh baji with chhoela. Even the venue was around 45 kms far from the city, guests showed their dedication by participating in this event and made this celebration a huge success. Click here for the photos.
